Through Hegelian identification what might occur when testing a so called functional object’s ability to facilitate and inform one’s own (my own) movement/s? In consideration of Helen Escobedo’s comment, “a sculpture should be functional”, at what point does expectation of a static sculpture deviate and instead come to embody processes of becoming. Via the navigation of high and low pressures, the following documentation is descriptive of recent attempts to engage with prompts of potential, exiting from and returning to a point of origin. What auxiliary, tools of support, are required to undertake these tasks?
